A state candidate with special skills

Over the years I have had many opportunities to volunteer with worthy candidates for many levels of government. What I've learned is that the local seats are the most vital and the most responsive.

After years of great service by state Rep. Bob Biggins, who is not running for re-election, that seat is being contested. I would encourage every person in the 41st District (from Lombard to Riverside) to support Elmhurst Alderman Chris Nybo for this important seat.

He's already proven to be an outstanding and effective public servant who has faced the prospect of having to balance a budget, something municipal elected officials must do. He's a graduate of Fenwick, Dartmouth and the Univ. of Chicago (Law). He's raising two children with his wife Faye and dealing with all of the same issues that families and seniors all over the district are coping with.

His greater knowledge comes from the effort he's made to meet people on their porches in every corner of the district. No one has worked harder to understand the issues facing this diverse district of DuPage and Cook County residents. To top it all off he holds himself to ethical standards much higher than any existing political standard. He's the real deal in every way. I urge you to join me in supporting Chris Nybo.
