Seals knows what's important to people

Of the Democratic candidates running for Congress in the 10th district, Dan Seals surpasses the field when it comes to knowing the people and understanding the issues important to us. He is focused on working with small businesses and investing in green technologies to create jobs.

Dan understands the plight of working families and is dedicated to making health care and college more affordable.

In the past, he had the guts to take on an entrenched Mark Kirk when no party insider would step up. Dan has spent thousands of hours getting to know the residents of our district and has gained a profound understanding of our needs and values.

Since they won't have to face Kirk in November, a number of political opportunists are running for this seat in an attempt to further their own political careers. But Dan Seals will bring a fresh voice to congress. Thankfully, he is not a Springfield politician steeped in the ways of dysfunctional government. Dan Seals has education and experience in the fields of trade development, economics, public policy and education. Our district and our country need more highly qualified, dedicated, ethical people in Washington - not career politicians.
