IRS offices open Saturdays
Three Chicago-area Internal Revenue Service offices will be open Saturdays to help taxpayers eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit. The offices will be open on Jan. 30, Feb. 6 and Feb. 20. The Earned Income Tax Credit is a refundable credit for people who work but do not earn high incomes. The Chicago area IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers open EITC Saturdays are downtown Chicago IRS Office at 230 S. Dearborn Street, open 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Orland Park IRS Office at 14479 South John Humphrey Drive, open 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Schiller Park IRS Office at 5100 River Road, open 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
