The male victim went back into his house for a cup of coffee while waiting for a ride. The clubs were gone when he returned to the parkway. Value was estimated at $600.bull; Thieves stole $1,200 from a desk in an locked office at Elite Car Wash, 1915 S. Arlington Heights Road, between 8 p.m. Sept. 24 and 1:30 a.m. Sept. 25.bull; A man and woman stole clothes from the Salvation Army resale shop, 250 W. Rand Road, around 6 p.m. Sept. 25. The woman hid items in her purse, paid for merchandise valued at $14, and both left the store. A manager confronted them in the parking lot; the woman removed dress shirts valued at $22 from her purse and threw them at the manager. The couple drove away in a 2005 Lincoln Navigator. It is possible the woman had additional merchandise in her purse.bull; A man left a taxicab on the 1500 block of Woods Drive around 8:35 p.m. Sept. 26 without paying the $78 fare. He argued with the driver who called police when the man refused to pay the fare. The passenger told the cabbie he would wait for the police and asked for his credit card; he fled the cab when the driver handed the card back.bull; Burglars broke into a 2010 Ford pickup truck in a restaurant lot at 222 E. Algonquin Road between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 and stole a computer case with a laptop computer and iPad. Dean, 41, of the 300 block of North Kaspar, Arlington Heights, was arrested around 9 a.m. Sept. 25 at the Metra depot after officers spotted him. Dean had entered the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave., around 1:30 p.m. Sept. 24. He had been banned from the library, but he sat on a chair and urinated through his pants, wetting the chair. He left before officers arrived. He was charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. His court date is Oct. 21.bull; Carlos A. Butler, 18, both of the 300 block of Lancelot Lane, Palatine, and Kenrell M. Bell, 18, of the 100 block of Morningside Lane, Buffalo Grove, were arrested around 2:40 a.m. Sept. 25 on the 0-100 block of Chestnut Terrace and charged with felonies: burglary and criminal trespass to vehicle. A 17-year-old Arlington Heights juvenile was arrested and charged with possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor. A resident reported that the group burglarized his vehicle and he was holding them. A neighbor had witnessed the burglary and assisted the resident in apprehending them. The offenders had in their possession a backpack that contained numerous items taken from vehicles. They took a pair of sunglasses and three bottles of beer out of vehicles at one home; a navigation system, five packs of cigarettes, a lighter and a knife out of a car at another home; a 12-pack of soda and the vehicle's keys out of another vehicle; a navigation system, a charger and a cable to an iPod out of another vehicle; a laptop computer out of another car, started the car with keys left inside, moved the car into the street and left it running. They removed a pack of cigarettes from yet another car, and stole a navigation system and an iPod out of one more vehicle. All vehicles were unlocked and parked on the 0-100 block of Chestnut Terrace, 100 block of Willow Parkway and 2000 block of Jordan Parkway. bull; Sergio Garcia, 29, of the 500 block of West Dempster Street, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 2:25 a.m. Sept. 26 on Arlington Heights Road near Lake-Cook Road and charged with illegal transportation of open liquor, driving under the influence and traffic violations. bull; Shane William Mukulay, 19, of the 3000 block of Popsie Drive, Belvedere, was arrested around 4:20 a.m. Sept. 26 on Lake-Cook Road at Hastings and charged with possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor, driving under the influence and speeding. bull; Cole Ryan Tanski, 23, of the 700 block of Grove Drive, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 9:35 p.m. Sept. 26 at his apartment and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A resident reported that Tanski was smoking marijuana. Officers located the unit and were greeted by a strong odor of marijuana. Her 14-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son were in the car when Baker's car was involved in a crash at Miner and Graceland. bull; Thomas W. Lemke, 59, of the 1300 block of East Rand Road, Des Plaines, was arrested around 3 p.m. Sept. 27 in the mobile home park and charged with disorderly conduct after Lemke, who was cutting weeds as an employee of the mobile home community, swore at a 39-year-old male resident and threatened to harm him when the victim told Lemke to stay at least 6 inches away from his trailer. Lemke's court date is Oct. 27.bull; Lionel Reyes, 26, of the 1700 block of Potter Road, Park Ridge, was arrested around 3:25 p.m. Sept. 27 on the 1900 block of Laura Lane and charged with traffic violations and possession of marijuana. His court date is Oct. 29.bull; Vandals used black markers to write graffiti on the back of five stop/no parking signs on the 100 and 200 blocks of Bradley and on the back of 10 signs on the 200 and 300 blocks of Dulles on an unknown date but reported Sept. 27. Damage was estimated at $300. bull; A man was seen on a security videotape breaking a Plexiglas window on a garage door at Jiffy Lube, 777 S. Elmhurst Road, around 8:19 p.m. Sept. 27. He walked to a safe in the manager's office and stole three leather bank bags containing cash and Jiffy Lube gift certificates, and a clear plastic bag containing tire plugs. She swore repeatedly at officers, both at the home and in the police department. She pushed an officer in the chest when the officer tried to take her hair rubber band from her hand in a holding cell. Her court date is Oct. 14.
