Retro McDonald's to open at Yorktown

LOMBARD — McDonald's plans to open its newest free-standing restaurant on Highland Avenue at the Yorktown Center on Monday, Nov. 22. The 4,365 square foot restaurant is built using the “Tribute” style and is only the second location in the U.S to use this style.

“Not only will McDonald's be able to showcase its new 1950s retro-restaurant design to the traffic along a busy Lombard thoroughfare, we look forward to these drivers visiting our new location to enjoy a meal or snack,” said Heather Yang, McDonald's Operations Manager.

Giveaways to the first 100 customers and sampling of delicious McCafé beverages are planned for the grand opening.
