Judson U. to host career workshop at Rockford and Elgin campuses

Judson University's Adult Education program will host two career development workshops at the Rockford and Elgin campuses beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 27, respectively.

Doris Haugen, career development coordinator for Judson, will lead the workshop discussions with the most effective strategies for breaking into the job market. After the workshop, there will be an open house for participants to network with one another and learn more about the programs that Judson offers.

This event is open to the public and all students including traditional undergraduate, graduate and adult students. Participants are encouraged to bring career resources with them such as resumes, portfolios and business cards if they have them.

The Rockford event will take place in Room 5, while the Elgin event will take place on the first floor of Lindner Tower, Room F.

Judson University is a Christian liberal-arts university offering undergraduate, graduate and adult-professional programs. With locations in Elgin and Rockford, Judson offers more than 60 different majors and minors.
