The National Historic Landmark presents tours and events to the public, operates a gift shop and much more. Ÿ The Rockford Writers’ Guild welcomes entries for the seventh annual Ides of March Poetry & Prose Contest. Eclectic poetry up to 50 lines or prose up to 1,300 words should express fresh insights into the human condition (sexist, pornographic or supremacist content will not be considered). Deadline to enter is March 15. Entry fee is $5 for up to three poems and/or $5 for each single prose entry. All proceeds will be distributed among the winners. Ÿ The Curt Teich Postcard Archives at the Lake County Discovery Museum seeks entries for its ninth biennial Postcard Art Competition and Exhibition.
