Keep snow off of disabled parking spots in Schaumburg

It seems we forget about our disabled friends when it come to snow removal. People who plow parking lots push the snow into piles in the lots and it seems that the disabled parking spot is a good one.

The Schaumburg Park District used one at their Meineke Park; the people who did the Dominick's on Roselle Road in Schaumburg used several — to name a few — and no one does anything about it.

The police would not hesitate to give you a ticket for parking in one without a permit but if you fill it with snow it is OK.

Our disabled friends have enough problems with all this snow and don't need denied access to be one of them.

We need the police to enforce the ADA law and get these people interested in keeping these spaces free of snow.
