Local student named to Loyola-Chicago dean's list
Lisa M. Sroka of Buffalo Grove was recently named to the College of Arts and Sciences Dean's List at Loyola University Chicago.
Sroka, 20, a sophomore at Loyola, is studying music and psychology. She graduated in 2009 from St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. During grade school and high school, she was a regular cantor at St. Mary Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove, her home parish. She now cantors and directs the music at the Madonna della Strada chapel at Loyola and various churches throughout Chicago.
