McHenry County College, two-year: Bogar

Although Dennis Adams is technically an incumbent for the remainder of Donna Kurtz’s term as McHenry County College trustee, he has only held that position since November of 2010. Challenger Dave Bogar is a veteran educator of 30 years. His focus on expanding the curriculum in high-demand fields like nursing and culinary arts and providing more financial assistance to students will help MCC succeed. Adams has an impressive resume of public service, but Bogar has the educational background and ideas to help move the college forward. Bogar is endorsed.
