SEPTEMBER

September 1-5: Buffalo Grove Days, Lake Cook Road and Raupp Boulevard, Buffalo Grove: Thursday, Sept. 1, through Monday, Sept. 5. Hours to be determined. Includes carnival, bingo, parade, barbecue challenge, kid's craft tent, arts and crafts fair, business fair, food tent, 5K run, entertainment and fireworks. September 2-4: Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset Festival, Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, Lake in the Hills: 3 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 and 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4. Carnival, entertainment, beer gardens. Parade begins at 10 a.m. Sept. 5 in downtown Naperville. Fling Mile held before parade at 9:30 a.m. starting at Highland Street near Naperville Central High School and ending at Spring Street near Washington Jr. High School. Free shuttle, free admission.
