Arlington Hts. Art Guild presents show Sunday

Ninety artists will display their work at A Walk in the Park Sunday, Aug. 21, at North School Park, 410 N. Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.

This marks 40 years the Arlington Heights Art Guild has hosted the juried show.

Visitors will find artists selling paintings, stained glass, woodwork, pottery and jewelry. Food will also be available, and the entertainment will include music.

The Arlington Heights Art Guild is a nonprofit group run by local artists. Their goal is to provide education to members and guests at regular meetings. The group also gives an annual scholarship to a local high school student who plans to study art.
