Many families and local businesses contributed to the cause, including: Grande Jakes in Lindenhurst/Antioch; Sammies, Polson Natural Foods, Country Companies, Express Care, Dunkin’ Donuts, Barker Shoppe, Lakehouse Restaurant, UPS Store and Tangney & Sons Plumbing and Sewers Inc. in Antioch; Mary Kay Cosmetics and Twisted Cow of Lindenhurst; Off Broadway Salon in Gurnee; Mid America Water in Wauconda; Michael Wagners in Wheeling; Menoni & Mocogni in Highland Park; and Ultimate Plumbing in Palatine; as well as face painting by Jody Nolan and parking supplied by Antioch Township.
