Fremd hosts ARTSFEST

“ARTSFEST” was the creation of former Fremd High School Art Department chairman Len Upin, who was known for seeing potential in all students and providing opportunities for practicing artists.

Fifteen years later, the 2011 version of ARTSFEST attracted some of the area’s best artists, including former art students, art educators, college representatives and professional artists, sharing their expertise with students and staff when the school hosted this year’s event Nov. 15-18.
