Aliano's Ristorante opens in Batavia
Batavia recently welcomed Aliano's Ristorante, now open daily for lunch and dinner. Popular pasta dishes include the tortellini alla prosciutto tossed with mushrooms, peas, onions and prosciutto in a light Alfredo sauce for $14, and the spaghetti pescatore, made with mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp served on spaghetti with a light tomato sauce for $21. Pasta dishes come with soup or salad.

Austin BBQ celebrates
Known for the “Best Texas BBQ outside of Texas,” Austin BBQ celebrates its first anniversary with popular favorites including the Texas brisket served sliced or chopped with two sides and hush puppies for $10.95. Other faves include the tri-tip and pulled pork. Ribs are served Monday through Saturday after 5 p.m.

Hugo's wine dinner
Hugo's Frog Bar and Fish House meets Oberon Napa Valley at a wine dinner from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31. The seasonal menu includes braised prime short ribs Wellington, roasted squab and roasted bone marrow with prime roasted rib-eye. Wines to taste include Oberon's Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Napa, Hillside Reserve Napa and Moscato. $75 per person, excluding tax and gratuity. Reservations required.
