St. Margaret Mary hosts improv show in Algonquin

Enjoy a night of laughter with a comedy performance by GreenRoom Productions from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at St. Margaret Mary School gym, 119 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin. It is sponsored by St. Margaret Mary’s Knights of Columbus.

For years GreenRoom has been performing its improv show for thousands of people of all ages. Imagine an hour and a half of complete improvisation, like the show “Whose Line is it Any Way.” This unscripted show takes audience suggestions and true-life audience stories and turns them into hilarious theater pieces right before your eyes.

Advance tickets are $10 or $12 at the door. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a social gathering with seating starting at 6:30 p.m.

Snacks and refreshments will be available.

To purchase tickets, call (847) 254-0837. Tickets will be sold after all Masses on Jan. 29 and again Feb. 5, or ticket purchases can be arranged by email at salbongi@gmail.com.

The show is appropriate for all ages but would be most enjoyed by those of ages 10 and older. Child care will be available by the Youth Ministry for ages 3 and older in the school cafeteria from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Donations are appreciated.
