NCH medical group expands to Palatine

Northwest Community Healthcare’s Medical Group expanded its network of doctors on Jan. 31, by acquiring the Family Treatment Center, at 500 N. Hicks Road, Suite 100 in Palatine.

The addition gives the NCH Medical Group six locations in the Northwest suburbs.

Family Treatment Center, which has operated since 1986, serves approximately 2,500 patients a year. The internal medicine practice consists of Dr. Janet Reilly, Dr. John Fox and Dr. Evelyn White. The name of the practice will change to NCH Medical Group as of March 1.

“Joining the NCH Medical Group strengthens our ability to provide exceptional care for our patients,” Dr. Reilly said. “There’s value to physicians and hospitals working together.”

The NCH Medical Group offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services in addition to advanced treatment options at Northwest Community Hospital. Each patient’s medical records are connected to the hospital, to specialists and to outpatient sites, making scheduling easier while eliminating extra testing.

“It all adds up to a better patient experience,” said Michael Hartke, executive vice president of Clinics and Regional Services at NCH. “We can take care of your basic health care needs, but also use the extensive resources of our system to excel in complex cases that require multiple doctors working from the same playbook.”
