Hospice of NE Illinois president resigns
Cindy Musikantow has resigned as president and chief executive officer of Barrington-based Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois, its board of directors announced Monday.
Sarah Bealles, chief operating officer, has been serving as active president and CEO since December and will continue in that capacity while the board works through the selection process to permanently fill the president and CEO role.
During Musikantow’s tenure, HPNI opened the first free-standing hospice home in the region, the Pepper Family Hospice Home and Center for Care in Barrington. She also was instrumental in raising awareness of the benefits of palliative care and bringing palliative care to the Northwest suburbs.
