Reduce pension for system gamers

Laws may not have been violated by those who have enhanced their pensions through circumventing the intent of pension regulations. However, it appears to me that those shrewd individuals who benefited the most by getting around the rules were in supervisory or management positions ... positions of trust. Expectations are they should behave honorably and responsibly — and they did not.

Greed may not be against the law, but those who gamed the system should be held responsible for their actions, which adversely affected the financial stability of the pension plans. I believe the management of these plans should take action to claw back excess benefits and reduce pension payments, for those who gamed the system, to a level equal to what they would receive based on intent of the plan.
