Take a walk with the Arlington Hts. Art Guild

The Arlington Heights Art Guild invites art lovers to North School Park Sunday, Aug. 19, for A Walk in the Park, the fine arts and crafts show they have been putting on for 41 years.

The show usually attracts around 5,000 visitors, who roam the more than 90 juried artist stations working in every medium imaginable.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the park, 410 Arlington Heights Road. Admission is free.

Besides viewing the art, there will be food vendors, music and entertainment.

The Arlington Heights Art Guild meets the third Thursdays of each month, September to May (not December), at 7:30 p.m. at the Wheeling Township Community Service Center, 1616 Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights.

To join, attend a meeting or contact Carol VanderMey at cdvander@att.net or (847) 991-1487.
