Costumed ball, dinner to support Fox Valley Repertory

Don your favorite costume and celebrate Halloween while supporting the performing arts.

Fox Valley Repertory, a professional theater based out of St. Charles, invites parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, theater supporters and children to join them for a “Party at the Roundhouse” as they celebrate their community and the arts during its third annual Masquerade Ball, a fundraiser for the Performing Arts Academy.

In celebration of the growth and success of the Performing Arts Academy, Fox Valley Repertory invites all ages to dress up and attend the Masquerade Ball from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Two Brothers Roundhouse, 205 N. Broadway, Aurora.

There will be food, DJ dance party, face painting, a haunted trail, costume contest, silent auction, balloon prizes, student performances and more.

Silent auction items include four Walt Disney World One-Day Park Hopper passes, tickets to Blue Man Group, local restaurant gift certificates, and other gifts.

Dinner features two menus, one especially for kids. The kids’ menu includes chicken fingers, fries, pizza, macaroni and cheese, country vegetable crudités with dips, and seasonal fruit.

The adult menu includes Roundhouse house salad, chickpea stew, roasted chicken, macaroni and cheese, and roasted baby red potatoes. Soda, coffee and tea are included.

Also for adults, Two Brothers Brewing will have a cash bar full of their own beers.

Ticket prices are $40 for adults and $20 for students younger than 19. Proceeds will support the Performing Arts Academy in ways such as:

Ÿ providing scholarships for in-need students,

Ÿ maintaining quality programming (lights, costumes, sound, sets, etc.),

Ÿ keeping the arts alive in your community.

Ticket purchases and donations can be made online at www.foxvalleyrep.org/masquerade. Tickets must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets by phone or for information, call (630) 443-0438.

Current Fox Valley Repertory productions, performed at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, include “Woman in Black” through Oct. 28, and “Defending the Caveman” Nov. 2-4.
