Sam's Club, American Legion Post #36 & City of Des Plaines Provide Holiday Baskets

Des Plaines Sam's Club personnel, members of American Legion Post #36 and City of Des Plaines Officials worked cooperatively on a Holiday Basket Program during Thanksgiving Week. Thanks to the generosity of Sam's Club, 75 local families were the recipient of a holiday basket which included a turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, a cake, canned goods and more. Volunteers gathered at Sam's Club, 101 W. Oakton Street, to pick up baskets for disbursement to Des Plaines' needy.
