Timeline for first case of Ebola diagnosed in US
The first person to be diagnosed with Ebola in the United States traveled from Liberia, federal health officials said. The unidentified man, who flew into Dallas, is being treated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital:
Sept. 19 - Departs from Liberia
Sept. 20 - Arrives in the United States
Sept. 24 - Begins having symptoms
Sept. 26 - Seeks medical care
Sept. 28 - Hospitalized and put in isolation
Sept. 30 - Tests positive for Ebola
