Garrett Popcorn to open at Woodfield next week

Garrett Popcorn Shops, a popular Chicago fixture, will open its first suburban location at Schaumburg's Woodfield Mall during Thanksgiving week.

The grand opening of the Woodfield shop also will see the debut of several new Garrett Popcorn flavors. They include Almond CaramelCrisp Mocha, Almond CaramelCrisp Dark Hot Chocolate, Cashew CaramelCrisp White Hot Chocolate, CaramelCrisp Infused Coffee and Hand-Dipped Nut CaramelCrisp Clusters.

Founded in Chicago in 1949, Garrett Popcorn Shops now has 12 locations in the city, including two at O'Hare International Airport.

Elsewhere in the country, there are stores in Atlanta, Detroit, Las Vegas and New York. Internationally, there are locations in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
