Medline picked as vendor for Guardian Elder Care

MUNDELEIN - Guardian Elder Care, a health care organization that provides skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living services to communities in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, has awarded Medline with a new prime vendor agreement.

Through the three-year deal, Medline will provide Guardian Elder Care with an extensive portfolio of essential supplies such products as Ultrasorbs AP Underpads, Heelmedix Heel Protection Devices, and the Medline Remedy Phytoplexâ„¢ line, a unique sensitive skin formula that uses plant-based ingredients and no perfumes to nourish, moisturize and soothe the skin.

By utilizing Medline's online reporting tool called Medline INSIGHT, Guardian Elder Care will have the ability to easily monitor key metrics such as item utilization, contract compliance, price accuracy and spend by product categories.

"We're dedicated to standing by Guardian Elder Care's side and providing them with high-quality products and solutions to meet their clinical and financial goals."

Medline's distribution centers in Canton, Ohio, Baltimore Md. and Middletown, N.Y. will help Guardian Elder Care's entities quickly receive products, when and where they need them.
