Saturday Night Dance Parties at Anytime Fitness in Streamwood

STREAMWOOD IL - No weekend couch potatoes allowed! ANYTIME FITNESS in Streamwood, Illinois, is taking over your Saturday nights with dance meet-ups that are open to the public! On alternating Saturday evenings, Anytime Fitness members watch their 4,000 square foot fitness studio transform into a night-club style dance floor. The lights are dimmed, café tables with white table cloths and candles are set up and then a disco stage light show begins as the professional DJ fills the room with music energy.

"So far, we have successfully held three of these events in Streamwood and people said they plan to attend all the future parties. They really like the large open floor", said Erik Resner, the greeter at the door.

The BYOB events (over 21 years) attract 30-60 people of various ages, dressed and casual. A championship dancer, Dora Baroti, gets the party started by teaching Salsa and Bachata steps to everyone before opening the floor to join her for a night of fun!

"Saturday night dance parties are a way to spend quality time with your partner or meet a partner if you don't have one. You'll enjoy the laughter and singing, finger-snapping, foot-tapping, heart-beating, fun-filled night while you pump-up your heart-health! A 150 pound person burns 240 calories per hour on average so in the five hours (8pm to 1am) some folks are burning 1,200 calories!" said Janie Dziedzic, the owner of the Streamwood ANYTIME FITNESS club.

On Monday evenings, Dora offers a variety of classes at different levels from Salsa to Bachata to help you build dance skills and self -esteem,. Folks can build confidence and skills while they work out and train, then they take it all to the dance floor on weekends. Salsa and Bachata dance parties are-held on Saturdays alternating with Hip-Hop workshops. Dora Baroti hosts the Saturday Latin dance parties and on Monday evenings, she also teaches the Latin dance classes at the Streamwood ANYTIME FITNESS club.

Dora Baroti was born in Hungary and has danced since she was 4 years old. She is the founder of Studio Viva. She has performed, instructed and entertained for over 20 years. "The classes are really fun and extra- friendly because we rotate partners so even the most timid person will make new friends. Not only is it fun for them to meet people, but rotating helps the dancers learn different styles and to become comfortable dancing with a variety of unique partners" said Dora. If Hip-Hop is your passion, the club has you covered. You can't find more qualified instructors. The competitive dance team, TFK, and national recording artist Daryon Simmons, (DLOW); are members of the club. November of 2015, they took home a trophy from the World of Dance competition. DLOW, is trending on the internet, his music/dance videos have pulled over 45 million views and he has been climbing the Billboard Hot 100's charts. TFK hosts workshops at the club and teaches hip-hop dance to both children and adults throughout the week. Those who are aspiring to become a professional urban dancer should check out the weekend hip-hop workshops because TFK has drafted or recruited members of their dance team from these workshop.
