West Chicago McDonald's holds McTeacher's Night to support their local School
On Thursday, March 3rd, Indian Knoll School held a very successful McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the McDonald's in West Chicago. The Indian Knoll McTeacher's Night was a fun way to bring the Indian Knoll teachers together and have the opportunity to meet the parents of students and members of the community while raising funds for the school. And what a great community the Indian Knoll School is, as the restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers, Indian Knoll staff, and Tommy Hawk.
Teachers had so much fun at this community event where they were able to interact with families and students. Many teachers worked from the school. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and serving ice cream.
Indian Knoll McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. Tommy Hawk was enjoyed by everyone. The school plans to use the money raised to go into the fund to support school events and mini grants for the teachers. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the McDonald's on North Ave. in West Chicago. Special thank-you goes to Melissa Kud, who is part of the PTO and who organized the entire event.
