Wheaton Church Youth To Present David and Goliath Musical
Three thousand years ago, a shepherd boy faced an overwhelming challenge, armed with only a sling, a staff and courageous faith. The timeless message of the beloved saga of "David and Goliath" is that no matter how great the obstacle, there is no darkness that God cannot overcome.
The famous biblical story will come alive in a fresh new way in an exciting, humorous and powerful musical on Sunday, March 13 at 4:00 p.m. at Wheaton's Gary United Methodist Church. "The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit," written by Alan Pote and Tom Long, will be performed entirely by the church's children and youth. The entire family will love this delightful presentation. Admission is free and ample free parking is available.
