Cary parks ready to keep kids busy during break
As spring break approaches, families are looking for fun and engaging activities for their kids during that time. The Cary Park District has developed opportunities to keep kids minds alert and hands active when there is a day off from school.

Spring Crafts & Games: Spend the day at the Community Center with spring crafts games from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 25. Bring a sack lunch and drink. Fee is $35 for the first child; $30 for each additional child in the family.
Science Experiment Day: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, March 28. Put on your thinking caps and get ready for a day of fun and learning through science experiments. Bring a sack lunch and drink. Fee is $35 for the first child; $30 for each additional child in the family.
Cary Gymnastics: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 29. Bus leaves for Cary Gymnastics at 11:15 a.m. Start and end the day at the Community Center making friends and having fun. In between, they will tumble and roll at Cary Gymnastics in Cary. Bring a sack lunch and drink. Fee is $39 for the first child; $35 for each additional child in the family.
Pump It Up!: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. Start and end the day at the Community Center with games, activities, movies and more. In between, we will jump, tumble, and bounce at Pump it Up! in Crystal Lake. Bring a sack lunch and drink. Fee is $39 for the first child; $35 for each additional child in the family
Sand Art & Pizza Party: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 31. It's a fun day of making sand art and eating pizza. Children will make art, play games, make friends, and have a fun day at the Community Center. Lunch will be provided today. Fee is $35 for the first child; $30 for each additional child in the family.
MCCD Fel-Pro RRR: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, April 1. Bus leaves for Fel-Pro RRR at 11 a.m. Join us for a picnic and hike at Fel-Pro RRR in Cary. If weather is uncooperative that day we will have indoor activities planned at the Community Center. Fee is $35 for the first child; $30 for each additional child in the family.
