Lowe's Cos., up $2.53 to $78.60
The home improvement retailer posted strong results in the first quarter as the housing market boomed.
Target Corp., down $5.61 to $68
The retailer's sales declined and fell short of estimates, and its second-quarter projections disappointed investors.
inContact Inc., up $4.82 to $13.83
Nice Systems said it will buy the call-center software maker for about $871 million, or $14 per share.
Andersons Inc., up $6.13 to $32.07
HC2 Holdings went public with an offer to buy the agribusiness company, but Andersons rejected the bid.
Bank of America Corp., up 68 cents to $14.69
Bond yields increased, sending interest rates higher. That lets banks make more money on lending.
Hormel Foods Corp., down $3.32 to $35.48
The Spam maker reported strong results and guidance, but investors worried about some of its profit margins.
Charter Communications Inc., up $2.50 to $227.41
The cable company completed its purchases of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks.
