Leicester owner says team was like a family

BANGKOK (AP) - Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha says the team was like a family.

The Premier League champions arrived in Bangkok on Wednesday without three top players - Jamie Vardy, N'Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez. Vardy and Kante are preparing for the European Championship and Mahrez was given leave.

Vichai, who is from Thailand, says "I have spent most of my time in the U.K. in order to be with them. When there are problems, we talk and help fix them. We have been more like a family."
