Buy some art and get free music as a Fine Art Show patron

The 18th annual St. Charles Fine Art Show returns on Memorial Day Weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 28, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 29. Sponsored by STC Capital Bank, this award-winning show features the work of more than 100 juried artists in disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography, glass, wood, jewelry and other media. It draw thousands to downtown St. Charles to view and purchase artwork from across the entire United States and beyond.

This show also welcomes art buyers and art supporters to join the Patron Pledge Program by making a minimum dollar commitment to buy art at the show. This year's patrons will receive two free tickets to an Arcada show of their choosing, courtesy of Arcada Live. There will be live musical entertainment throughout the show, sponsored by BMO Harris Bank, which will be located in the BMO Harris lot.

Trio Life, Andy Schlinder Trio, Alyssa and the Allgoods and Cicada Summer will perform on Saturday. Abigail Hughes, Dennis O'Brien, 4theBand, and Ben Groth will be the featured performers on Sunday. The Soldiers of Swing will be playing on the First Street Plaza Saturday evening.

The Feature tent, brought to you by Erin Livermore's All Things Art Studio, will feature multiple art activities for children and adults.

Rest your feet and ride the downtown Historic Trolley tour, sponsored by Fox Valley GMC, which will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Docents will narrate during this free 45-minute tour, highlighting many historic homes and building along the tour.
