Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra to host benefit gala April 15

What better way to enjoy a spring afternoon with friends than to spend it in the beautiful surroundings of Katherine Legge Park at a benefit gala for the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra.

Supporters of the ESO and guests are invited to attend "Sing of Spring" from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at Katherine Legge Memorial Lodge in Hinsdale. This is an event you will not want to miss!

Those attending will enjoy delightful music, conversation, and delicious food and drink.

ESO Music Director and Conductor Stephen Alltop at the piano and soprano Josefien Stoppelenburg will take you on a journey through the life and music of George Gershwin with a program that features "Someone to Watch Over Me," "The Man I Love," "Summertime," "I've Got Rhythm," and many other audience-pleasing favorites.

Dinner catered by La Cuisine, a split the pot raffle, and a silent auction will all be part of this exciting gathering.

Tickets for the gala are $150 per person or $275 for two. To purchase tickets or to make reservations, call (630) 941-0202 or visit www.elmhurstsymphony.org.

Reservations are due by March 30.

Proceeds from this fundraiser support the programs of the ESO.
