Chicago Bulls set to play regular season-game in Mexico City
The Chicago Bulls will play a regular-season game in Mexico City, facing the Orlando Magic on Dec. 13 at Arena Ciudad de Mexico, the NBA announced Tuesday.
Over the years, the Bulls have played preseason games in Paris, London and Rio de Janeiro, but this will be their first time playing a regular-season game outside the United States or Canada. Orlando will play a second game in Mexico City on Dec. 15 against Utah. Both games will be televised by ESPN.
This is the third straight year the NBA has played multiple regular-season games in Mexico City. These will be the 27th and 28th NBA games played in the country since 1992.
The full NBA schedule will be released soon, beginning Wednesday on NBA TV at 1 p.m. with the announcement of opening week, Christmas Day and Martin Luther King Day games.
