Ban circuses that exploit animals
The letter from John DiLeonardo calling for a ban on animal circuses and describing circumstances at some circuses was shocking, yet not unexpected. Animals should never be abused. These poor souls should not be used for human "entertainment." Beating a zebra until it collapsed?
The person who did that should meet the same fate. Please ban circuses exploiting animals not only in DuPage but everywhere. I love animals more than most people and it is heartbreaking to hear how they are hurt. Animals are to be loved for their uniqueness, beauty and intelligence.
