Many happy returns in Wauconda District 118
It was so long summer, hello school Wednesday for students in Wauconda Unit District 118.
The district's students returned to classes, greeted by teachers, administrators and other leaders as they together launched the 2019-20 school year.
District 118 educates about 4,700 students from all or parts of Wauconda, Volo, Lakemoor, Port Barrington and Island Lake, at three grade schools, two middle schools and Wauconda High School.
