Carol Stream trustees provide woman's club with community update

Two Carol Stream trustees, Matt McCarthy and Mary Frusolone, will provide an update on what's happening in the village when the Carol Stream Woman's Club meets later this month.

The meeting will begin with a social time at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the teachers' cafeteria at Glenbard North High School, 990 Kuhn Road. The program will start at 7 p.m. Participants should enter through Door 1.

The two trustees will review current conditions in the community and highlight future plans - including the possibility of a village property tax.

The Carol Stream Woman's Club is a philanthropic and social club that supports local organizations with time and monetary donations.

The club has events and projects that support its chosen philanthropies and give back to the community, all while enjoying a social relationship with other women in the community.

Open to women from neighboring towns, the club's motto is "make new friends and make a difference."
