Education Center to host annual Kids' Best Friend benefit

The Education Center of Developmental Resources will celebrate 40 years of "helping kids succeed in school and in life" at its annual Kids' Best Friend Benefit and Awards Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The annual gala will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the DoubleTree by Hilton Lisle, 3003 Corporate West Drive, in Lisle.

Tickets are $150 per person and include a cocktail reception, dinner, raffle and live auction.

The reception begins at 5:30 p.m.

The Education Center of Developmental Resources is at 113 E. Van Buren in Naperville.

Founded in 1979, the Education Center of Developmental Resources was created as an Illinois nonprofit organization to empower children who were dealing with a broad spectrum of problems. Thousands of children have been helped since then - from all social, cultural and economic backgrounds. No individual or family has ever been turned away for financial reasons. The center is headquartered in Naperville with services available throughout the Chicago area.
