Friends of the McHenry Public Library to host book sale Oct. 19-20

The Friends of the McHenry Public Library District are getting ready for their annual Fall Used Book Sale Oct. 19-20 in the library's warehouse at 809 Front St.

Please park in the far northwest area of the parking lot and use Entrance B.

Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.

There will be a special pre-sale for Friends members (as of Sept. 30) on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.

If patrons check out an item from the library now until the book sale, they'll receive a coupon for $1 off a $6 purchase at the Saturday sale. Sunday will be a $5 a Bag Sale.

The book sale will feature hundreds of hardcover and paperback books, movies, music and more at bargain prices!

The Friends of the McHenry Public Library have given tens of thousands of dollars over the years to help fund library programming and literacy, provide new furniture and equipment, and contribute funding for new and emerging technology for the library.
