Homecoming BBQ Oct. 10 to benefit Marmion Rosary Band

The Marmion Music Boosters will host Homecoming BBQ from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at Marmion Academy, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora.

The Homecoming BBQ offers convenient drive-through pickup in Marmion's parking lot. Dinners are $15 each for your choice of 5-B's Catering two pork chop dinner, a half chicken dinner or a pork/chicken combo dinner.

All dinners will also include baked beans, applesauce, coleslaw and a dinner roll. Bottles of R-House BBQ Sauce, Original or Kickin', also are available for $10 per bottle.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.marmion.org/bbq.

If you know a Marmion or Rosary Band member, be sure to include his/her name when ordering. A limited number of dinners will be available for purchase that day, be sure to order yours early.

Support the musicians and enjoy some really great barbecue.

The Marmion Rosary Band is made up of students from Marmion Academy and Rosary High School and is directed by René Rosas and Brian Birch. All proceeds from the BBQ go to support the Marmion Music Boosters, including the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Men's Chorus.
