Ban trapping in Illinois
The enlightened state of California has humanely banned trapping. Illinois should be next. Trapping is one of the cruelest, inhumane, violent and depraved forms of animal torture that still exists.
Targeted creatures suffer egregious anguish, pain, physical distress and unfathomable suffering. Many slowly die for days. It's also not uncommon for non-targeted animals to be trapped in these heinous snares and torturous devices of death.
All humane, civilized and conscientious residents should be vehemently opposed to outmoded and barbaric trapping. There is no need to malevolently and brutally trap and snare innocent creatures for their furs and pelts.
