Fox Valley Lyrical Productions to host benefit luncheon Nov. 17
On Sunday, Nov. 17, the Fox Valley Lyrical Productions invites the community to the second benefit luncheon and concert from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church, 1565 Larkin Ave. in Elgin. It will follow the church service from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Singers will include: soprano Solange Sior of West Dundee; mezzo-soprano Karen Archbold of Wheaton; tenor Nicholas Metzger of Elgin; tenor Jeorge Holmes of Elgin; and bass-baritone Jim Hinton of Elgin.
Singers Julia Smitendorf, age 14, of Lake in the Hills and Blake Buczkiewicz, age 15, of Huntley from the Young Artist Program will be featured.
The pianists will be Jonathan Besancon, Murna Hansemann and Solange Sior.

The mission of Fox Valley Lyrical Productions (originally Soirée Lyrique) is to create and nourish a greater appreciation of the classical vocal arts and to educate through professional performances and community outreach programs in Elgin and the Fox Valley area.
