Go trick-or-treating in downtown Aurora Oct. 26

Costumed children of all ages will once again fill the sidewalks of downtown Aurora from noon to 3 p.m. during the annual "Trick or Treat" on Saturday, Oct. 26.

The free event invites families to dress up and visit over 45 participating locations in downtown Aurora.

Small businesses, museums, and several restaurants will be open with treats.

Participants can pick up a map at any participating location, including Santori Public Library, 101 S. River St.; Sci-Tech Hands On Museum, 18 W. Benton St.; Aurora Regional Fire Museum, 53 N. Broadway; and the David L. Pierce Art and History Center, 20 E. Downer Place.

Locations will have orange paper pumpkins on their doors.

The event is rain or shine.
