Krishnakumar joins Dunham Counseling as therapist

Dunham Counseling announced Ashwini Krishnakumar, LCPC, has joined the practice's Naperville office.

Krishnakumar provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families and is passionate working with diverse cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations and genders. She is particularly interested in issues including parenting challenges, behavioral problems at school, ADHD, depression, stress and anxiety, relational issues, conflict resolution and anger management, PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, acculturation issues and LGBTQIA affirmation.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with an M.A. from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Krishnakumar practices integrative treatment, drawing on humanistic, systems, emotion focused therapy as well as cognitive behavioral therapy and expressive therapy techniques.
