Palatine climbs to three games over .500

Palatine's girls basketball team pulled out a 45-43 triumph over visiting Rolling Meadows on Tuesday night in the Mid-Suburban League third-place crossover.

Top scorers for the Pirates (16-13) were Madi Stark (18 points), Olivia Radtke (11) and Kayla Miotk (8).

Rolling Meadows (13-11) was led by Emily Glavan (14 points, four 3-pointers)), Bridget Rolla (13) and Susannah Holifield (6).

Schaumburg 51, Elk Grove 30: Alyssa Orozco (18 points, three 3-pointers), Katie Smith (9 points), Emma Raupp (8) and Talia Torosian (8) led host Schaumburg (11-19) in the MSL crossover over Elk Grove.

Kaitlyn Ingebrigsten and Megan Murray each scored 7 points for EG (16-11)

Wheeling 45, Hoffman Estates 30: Chloe Drozdz scored a game-high 20 points followed by Sophia Stanke (15) and Naomi Metellus (8) for the visiting Wildcats (5-25).

Ashley Oliver paced Hoffman (2-25) with 8 points.

Prospect 44, Conant 37: Visiting Prospect (13-14) earned the win in the MSL crossover in Hoffman Estates over the Cougars (9-18).
