Be glad the liberals are not in charge

You know the progressive liberals had to come out of their hole sooner or later during this national crisis. Take note in the March 28 Daily Herald Opinion Page. These people could not support President Trump even if he cured world hunger.

They should thank their lucky stars that their presumptive president-elect, Joe Biden, is not in charge. Yes, the Joe Biden that doesn't know where he is or what office he is running for and has a real problem putting together a coherent sentence.

And that is the same Joe Biden that called President Trump a fear monger, xenophobic and racist when the president closed the border with China in late January long before any "experts" called for it.

That one move saved this nation from an overwhelming infection rate. He has done an excellent job during this pandemic. I wish I could say that for several governors who don't seem to have clue. They apparently do not understand that they have the primary responsibility for the safety and health of their citizens with support coming from the federal government.

Many of the progressive liberal crowd are now chastising the excellent medical team that the president has assembled that have worked tirelessly day after day fighting this enemy. It's despicable.

As Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, famously stated, "Do not let a crisis go to waste." And that is the socialist Democratic playbook. Remember these people in November.
