DuPage Rock Music School hosts Veteran's Benefit May 23

On Saturday, May 23, the DuPage Rock Music School hosts virtual Veteran's Rock Concert Benefit Show via their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/DuPageRockMusicSchool/.

"Our students will record their performances and upload them to YouTube. We will have all of the performance links posted on our page," says Robert Simkus, owner of DuPage Rock Music School in Carol Stream.

There also will be an opportunity to donate to Guitar4Veterans.org, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, to help veteran's suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and other ailments.

Over the years, DuPage Rock Music School and PlayAmazingGuitar.com have donated several dozens of guitars and free lessons to Veterans. This is a great opportunity for our students to show their skills and do something good at the same time.

Robert Simkus Jr. is the owner of DuPage Rock Music School in Carol Stream. During these times, the school on Randy Road has gone dark. But the school is keeping lessons going virtually online. Simkus is offering guitar lessons through his #1 Virtual Lessons site PlayAmazingGuitar.com portal and the DuPageRockMusicSchool.com is still offering piano, drums and voice lessons online as well.
