Heritage Prairie Farm to hold Organic Transplant Sales April 18
The sixth annual Organic Transplant Sales are approaching at Heritage Prairie Farm in Elburn.
Each year, the spring and summer plant sale events provide an opportunity for residents to get their vegetable gardens started with transplants of the same USDA Certified Organic plants that are grown at the farm.
This year, the spring sale will take place on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the summer sales will take place on May 2 and 9 at the same time.
A brochure of available plants and their descriptions is available for both sales at this link:

Available spring plants include lettuce, kale, herbs, beets, and more. Summer plants include tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peppers, herbs, pumpkins and more.
In addition to the plant sales, the farm store has continued to operate offering produce, raw honey, farm fresh eggs, meats, cheeses, and artisan goods such as soaps, coffees, preserves and more. The farm store is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
