Fundraiser helps family with cancer diagnosis

Cassie Jones (Dorsen), a lifelong resident of Batavia, has a husband, Dave, who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in June.

They have a GoFundMe fundraiser to raise money for these needs: a wheelchair van, bills and living expenses, and home health and child care.

Dave is the primary breadwinner of the family of five. Cassie is disabled by her own health issues. They have three children, Freyja (9), Henry (8), and Leopold (6). Both of the boys have nonverbal autism and one does not walk on his own.
