Aptar Group named among top 'responsible' companies

CRYSTAL LAKE - Aptar Group Inc. has been named one of America's Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek. It was ranked in the top 100 among 400 U.S. companies named by the magazine.

Newsweek created the 2021 list in partnership with Statista, one of the largest statistics database companies worldwide. The two evaluated the 2,000 largest public companies by revenue in the U.S. and compiled the list using publicly available performance data in the environmental, social and corporate governance categories. The rankings also took into account survey perception results from 7,500 U.S. citizens.

Crystal Lake-based Aptar is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of a broad range of drug delivery systems, consumer product dispensing products and active packaging solutions.

"We are extremely proud to be recognized by Newsweek and Statista for the second year in a row for our efforts to further a more sustainable, socially responsible, diverse, equitable and inclusive company," said Stephan B. Tanda, Aptar president and CEO.
